That breadth has shaped how I think about tools: they should be fast, predictable, and feel like they truly belong on the platform they’re built for.</p> <p>My passion has long been developer tools. My first industry work involved leading development of build tracking and release software on mainframes at GM/EDS, back when such tools didn’t yet exist. Later, as an SDET at Microsoft, I spent my off-hours adding networking support to the internal debugging app so developers could diagnose issues remotely from the comfort of their offices for the first time.
